PS: If you need assistance on using IRC (internet relay chat), use the following steps;
STEP 1: Installing mIRC
Download and install mIRC with default settings (use this address http://www.mirc.com/get.html)
NOTE: If you want to skip steps 2 through 5, click on this link ;)

STEP 2: Opening mIRC
Open mIRC. You may receive a popup asking for you to register. You do not have to register, just wait and click the ?continue? button once it appears.
STEP 3: Entering your information
You should see a ?mIRC Options? window when you first open mIRC. If not, you can go to the menubar and select "Tools>Options. Under ?Categories?, select ?Connect?.
Here you don?t have to enter your real full name or email address, but you have to enter something in the Full Name and Email Address fields.
Now, choose a Nickname and Alternative nickname. These are the names by which other people will know you on IRC.
STEP 4: Selecting a Server (irc.gamesurge.net)
In the ?mIRC Options? window, under ?Categories?, select ?Connect>Servers?.
Press the ?Add? button to create a new IRC server using the following information;
Description: GamgeSurge IRC
Server: irc.gamesurge.net
Port: 6667
Group: GameSurge
STEP 5: Connect and join our channel
Click the Connect button and mIRC will connect to irc.gamesurge.net. Once connected, a ?mIRC Favorites? window will appear. type in ?globalwf? and press ?Join?.
